Punjabi Style Matar Paneer




Make peas

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 medium or 1 cup onion cut
  • ½  inch ginger chopped
  • 2 banana garlic cut
  • 2 green chilies
  • 2 medium or 1 cup tomato chopped

For gravy

  • 1 table spoon oil
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tsp red papar
  • 1 tsp coriander power
  • ½ tsp gram masala
  • Salt as taste
  • 1 cup of water
  • Coriander chopped finally

How to prepare

  • Make gravy
  • In a pan pour 2 tsp oil on low flame.
  • Roasted cumin seeds in hot oil.
  • Add chopped ginger,garlic paste, chopped green chili and cook it for 1 minute.
  • Then pour chopped onion. Roast the onion until it become pale pink.
  • Add chopped tomatos and cook until tomatos become soft.
  • Turn off the gas and let it cool down.
  • When it cool down  grind well in mixer.

Make Punjabi Style mater paneer recipes

  • Pour 1 tsp oil in a pan and heat it.
  • Pour grind paste in pan and roaste it well and move it well so that it could not stick in the bottom of the pan.
  • Paste will become thick and the oil will become start come  from it.
  • Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder and gram masala. Mix  it well and roast for 1 minute.
  • Add cup of water just like gravy prefers to pour more or less water.
  • Mix it well until boil
  • Add boiled peas and paneer in it.mix it well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add cheese and mix .
  • Turn off the gas and pour it into a bowl and add chopped coriander.
